Whole grain council is organizing I Love My Whole Grains Contest on Aug 20th 2009. This contest is to promote and increase the awareness of whole grain.
The contest is simple, take the picture of your favorite whole grain food and upload it on the whole grain council website. 48 winners will be decided based on “People’s Choice” and the whole grain council’s judgment.
First prize is one whole week away from kitchen but don’t worry folk’s dinner will be ready. Who would not love their own personal chef, that also whole grain inspired dinners? I know that is a gift worth taking some serious picture. I wonder if it comes with dishwasher facility. Just kidding. But it would be very nice if it did. Two of the second prizewinner will receive magnificent collection of cookbooks from Lorna Sass, Robin Asbell, Judith Finlayson, Tiffany Haugen, General Mills, King Arthur Flour, Peter Reinhart, Jesse Cool and Oldways.
Rest of 45 third prize winners will receive range of whole grain product samples and coupons.
Well I am working on my whole grain photos. How about you? Just thinking of a week away from kitchen is enough to motivate me and on top of that being whole grain lover I am in for the competition.
